Description Tag
An HTML tag used to describe the category or theme of a web site for search engine and directory listings. The description tag also provides a summary of your web site, which will be displayed after the title of your site in the listing. The content of the description tag should clearly convey what someone can expect when visiting your site. This is important for attracting qualified click-throughs.
