TCP/IP
TCP/IP is the acronym for Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. TCP/IP is a data communication method for exchanging information between computers on a network. It uses IP addressing to identify computers and resources on a network.
IP addresses are unique I.D.’s for computers and resources (like a printer for example) on a network. See IP address for more info.
TCP IP is the format used for exchanging information between computers on the Internet.
